2025 Taipei Lantern Festival

The 2025 Taipei Lantern Festival is in the bustling Ximending shopping district, featuring four main exhibition areas: 
Main Lantern Area (Zhongshan Hall), Ximen Area, Zhonghua Road Area, and Beimen Area. The main lantern "Fortune Snake Doudou" combines the silhouette of Taipei 101 with symbols of pop music and light effects, presenting a vibrant city atmosphere. 
From January 24, there will be a pre-lit city light corridor, perfect for capturing beautiful IG moments!

2025 New Taipei Lantern Festival

This year's New Taipei Lantern Festival collaborates with NETFLIX and a popular IPs Line Friends Minini, and invite indigenous artist Wu Xiumei to create light installations. The festival features "10 themed lantern areas" and "6 special activities" waiting for the public to explore. There are also a total of 120 market stalls providing a diverse range of entertainment for tourists.

The highlight of this Taoyuan Lantern Festival is undoubtedly the gigantic "Snorlax" and "Pikachu" from Pokémon! The "Light-Up Millennium Kingdom" area, themed "Shape-Shifting Beasts" and "Fantasy Ecology," is a must-visit for Pokémon fans! 

The main lantern is in the first exhibition area, themed "Infinite Wonderland," creating a fantastic light show with a technological feel.

2025 Taichung Lantern Festival: Central Taiwan Lantern Festival

This time Taichung has the first “mobile” main lantern show in Taiwan! Unlike traditional main lantern show, the mythological goddess "Nuwa" serves as the perfect main lantern for the Year of the Snake. Additionally, the Central Taiwan Lantern Festival has nine themed lantern areas for the public to enjoy the beauty of light and shadow.

The 2025 Changhua Moon Shadow Lantern Festival transforms Bagua Mountain into an "Emoji Park"! The theme is designed for across middle-aged, young adult, and teenage generations. It's suitable for the whole family to enjoy together.

2025 Nantou Lantern Festival

This year's Nantou Lantern Festival collaborates with the popular local IP " Bugcat Capoo," setting up a dedicated Bugcat Capoo lantern area with a 7-meter-high secondary lantern and 13 large lantern groups. Fans of " Bugcat Capoo " should not miss this! 

In addition, there will be regular performances like the Disney night parade mode, giving you an exciting night. During the lantern festival, you can also exchange "Kabo" commemorative coins for staying and spending a certain amount.

2025 Tainan Lantern Festival: Yuejin Lantern Festival

2025 marks the 15th year of the Yuejin Lantern Festival. This year's theme integrates the exhibition environment with Tainan town and lake, collaborating with over 300 art teams to create a historical beauty of light and shadow, elevating the Yuejin Lantern Festival from a local lantern festival to an international city brand.

Chiikawa is definitely the hottest mascot in Taiwan right now! The 2025 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival collaborates with the Japanese super popular IP "Chiikawa" and launches super cute limited lanterns, which instantly sparked discussions across major social media platforms.
